Where I stayed truly was a Garden Oasis. It has a lush garden setting. The kitchenette and dining area were very nice to have inside the guest house. I also used the iPod dock on the stereo quite a few times with my morning routine of coffee and music.
After I started on my own personal “tasting journey” through the Portland Foodcart Scene. There are a few different pods around that have multiple foodcarts in a defined area. I started my day of at The Portland Mercado, this was a first for Portland, 10 vendors serving up cuisine from Mexico to Peru. I then continued on to Cartlandia off of 82nd which has almost 30 carts open year around along with an onsite pub with live sports. I went to find parking at the Foodcart pod downtown but I could not find parking so I opted for the new one in Happy Valley. This is a short drive down the highway so I thought it would be good to take a break from purging with food. There are 30 carts.
Such a good day, it would be too long to list everything I ate.
